Educational and Clinical Staff
 

Bridget A. Taylor, PsyD, BCBA,  Executive Director
Dr. Bridget A. Taylor is co-founder and Executive Director of Alpine Learning Group. She has specialized in the education and treatment of children with autism for the past twenty-four years. She holds a Doctorate of Psychology from Rutgers University, and received her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Columbia University. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Psychologist. Dr. Taylor is active in the autism research community and has published numerous articles on effective interventions for autism. She serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavioral Interventions, and Behavior Analysis in Practice. She is also a member of the Autism Advisory Group for the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies, is a member of the Expert panel of the National Autism Center’s National Standards Project, and is a board member of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment. Dr. Taylor is also senior clinical advisor for Rethink Autism (an innovative web-based curriculum for children with autism). She is a national and international speaker and has authored numerous research articles and book chapters related to autism.

Kate E. Cerino Britton, M.S.Ed., M.A., BCBA
Principal / Assistant Director
Kate E. Cerino Britton, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a certified Teacher of the Handicapped, and has worked with individuals with autism since 1997. She is currently the Principal and Assistant Director at the Alpine Learning Group. She holds a Masters in Educational Administration from Caldwell College and Special Education from Long Island University. She serves on the NJABA Board of Directors and has presented at national and international conferences on increasing socialization, problem solving, promoting safety, and augmentative communication.

Erin Richard, M.A., BCBA Director of Adult & Transition Services
Erin Richard is the Director of Adult and Transition Services at Alpine Learning Group. She has specialized in working with adolescents and adults with autism in employment, educational, community, and home settings for nearly a decade. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and holds both Teacher of the Handicapped and Elementary Teacher certifications in New Jersey. She holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell College in Caldwell, New Jersey. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Caldwell College's Applied Behavior Analysis program. Ms. Richard has presented at many local and national conferences on a variety of topics including preparing learners for adulthood, assessing and reducing problem behavior, and teaching leisure skills.


Angela Pagliaro, M.A., BCBA,
Director of Outreach Services
Angela Pagliaro is currently Alpine Learning Group’s Director of Outreach Services. Ms. Pagliaro is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State University in Harrisburg. She completed clinical Internships at the Hershey Medical Center Feeding Clinic, Penn State University, and Melmark, Inc. She was the Editorial Assistant for the journal Behavioral Interventions and served as the Secretary and Program Chair for the Pennsylvania Association of Behavior Analysis from 2003 to 2005. She has held clinical and director positions at Melmark, has served as an in-home behavior therapist for young children with autism, and a Psychometrician at Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Ms. Pagliaro’s peer-reviewed publications include work in the area of assessment and treatment of sleep, feeding skills, and problem behaviors in children with autism.


Jaime Schilling, M.S., BCBA, Teacher
Jaime Schilling has been working with learners with autism since 2003. She has her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in developmental disorders from the University of Massachusetts and received a dual Masters in Regular and Special Education from Long Island University. Jaime has presented at national and international conferences. She is currently a Teacher at Alpine Learning Group.


Karissa Masuicca, M.S.Ed., BCBA Teacher
Karissa Masuicca has been working with learners with autism since 2000. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a certified Teacher of the Handicapped. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Oswego State University and received a Masters in Special Education with a concentration in behavior disorders from Hunter College. Karissa has presented at various local and national conferences on topics including preparing learners for adulthood and strategies to teach job-related skills.


Casey Cooper, M.A., BCBA Teacher
Casey Cooper is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has worked with individuals with autism since 2003. She holds certifications as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities as well as Elementary Teacher. Casey received her Masters degree in Special Education from Caldwell College in Caldwell, New Jersey and is currently a Teacher at the Alpine Learning Group.
