Bridget A. Taylor, PsyD, BCBA,  Executive Director
Bridget A. Taylor is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She holds a Doctorate of Psychology from Rutgers University, and received her Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Columbia University. Dr. Taylor has specialized in the education and treatment of children with autism for the past nineteen years. In 1988, she co-founded the Alpine Learning Group, a well regarded education and treatment center for children with autism in New Jersey. She currently serves as Executive Director. Dr. Taylor has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and currently serves on the editorial board of Behavioral Interventions. She is also a member of the Autism Advisory Group for the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies. She has authored research articles and book chapters related to autism and is a regular presenter at national and international conferences.

Kate E. Cerino Britton, M.S.Ed., M.A. Principal
Kate E. Cerino Britton, M.S.Ed., M.A. is a certified teacher of the handicapped, and has worked with individuals with autism since 1997. She is currently the Principal at the Alpine Learning Group. She holds a Masters in Educational Administration from Caldwell College and Special Education from Long Island University. She has also completed course work in Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas. She has presented at national and international conferences on increasing socialization, problem solving, and augmentative communication.

Barbara Hoffmann, M.A., Teacher
Barbara Hoffmann has worked with learners with autism since 1999. She is a certified teacher of the handicapped and holds a Masters in Education. She received a Graduate Certificate in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas, and is currently pursuing her BCBA. Barbara has presented at various national and international conferences. She is currently a Teacher at the Alpine Learning Group.

 

Jaime Schilling, M.S., Teacher
Jaime Schilling has been working with learners with autism since 2003. She has her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in developmental disorders from the University of Massachusetts and received a dual Masters in Regular and Special Education from Long Island University. Jaime has presented at national and international conferences. She is currently a Teacher at Alpine Learning Group.

Erin Richard, M.A., Director of Adult and Transition Services
Erin Richard has worked with learners with autism since 2000. She oversees the adult day program and the supported employment/volunteer programs. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Wake Forest University and a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell College. Erin has presented at various local and national conferences on a variety of topics including preparing learners for adulthood, managing problem behavior, and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Angela F. Smith, M.A., BCBA, Director of Outreach Services
Angela Smith is currently Alpine Learning Group’s Director of Outreach Services. Ms. Smith is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State University in Harrisburg. She completed clinical Internships at the Hershey Medical Center Feeding Clinic, Penn State University, and Melmark, Inc. She was the Editorial Assistant for the journal Behavioral Interventions and served as the Secretary and Program Chair for the Pennsylvania Association of Behavior Analysis from 2003 to 2005. She has held clinical and director positions at Melmark, has served as an in-home behavior therapist for young children with autism, and a Psychometrician at Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Ms. Smith’s peer-reviewed publications include work in the area of assessment and treatment of sleep, feeding skills, and problem behaviors in children with autism.
