Join us to learn about the use of behavioral techniques that can help prepare children for medical procedures such as regular dental cleanings and physicals. We will also share information to help prepare for less-common procedures like going under anesthesia or having an EEG.

Presenters

Cortney DeBiase is the Principal of Alpine’s Education Program. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and holds a master’s degree in Special Education from Kean University. She has worked in the field of autism for 13 years. In addition to serving as principal, she is also a novice teacher mentor and a BCBA mentor.

Sarah Losowyj is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Alpine’s Education Program. Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell University. With more than a decade in the field, she has experience working with children with autism in the private school setting as well as with the families at home and in the community.
