A Night in Monte Carlo
On the 21st of October, nearly 500 members of the Alpine Learning Group community gathered for a memorable night of inspiring stories, celebration, generous giving, and excitement for this year’s Fall Affair – A Night in Monte Carlo. The event was a fantastic success! Thanks to members of the Alpine community, we successfully raised over half a million dollars for the Alpine Learning Group Foundation. Funds raised at the Fall Affair ensure Alpine can provide uncompromised programs and services to our learners and their families.
We had the opportunity to honor three members of the Alpine Learning Group community whose dedication and partnership over the years have been invaluable to our organization: Lori G. Cohen, Marcella Barganz, and Jaime Stine, MS, BCBA.
Lori G. Cohen, Vice Chair of Greenberg Traurig, LLP received this year’s Corporate Honoree Award. Lori is a celebrated, dynamic leader within her industry, as well as an inspiring mentor whose contagious energy elevates those around her. With her leadership, Greenberg Traurig has played a transformative role in the success of Alpine’s Fall Affairs over the years. Alpine is fortunate to have Lori among our champions.
We celebrate Marcella Barganz with our Commitment to Alpine Award. We honor her for her dedication of time, expertise, and boundless compassion over her 13 years as a Board Member. Marcella has the unique distinction of having served as President of the Alpine Learning Group Board and the Alpine Learning Group Foundation Board for a total of eight years.
Jaime has been part of the Alpine community since 2003, when she started her career as an instructional paraprofessional. Since then, Jaime has held various roles in the organization, and now serves as supervisor of curriculum and instruction. We are ever grateful for her impact on our learners, her partnerships with our families, and the leadership she has shared with all our Alpine colleagues over the years. We celebrate her first 20 years and look forward to many more!
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers, the Fall Affair Committee, and all staff whose efforts made this great night possible. Your commitment and dedication played a pivotal role in making this event a resounding success.
