About the Webinar: This webinar explores practical strategies for supporting individuals on the autism spectrum in navigating community outings with greater confidence and safety. Topics will include proactive planning, teaching essential skills, and addressing common challenges that can arise in public settings. Participants will gain tools to promote independence while creating positive, successful experiences in the community. 

Host and Presenters:

Bridget Taylor, PsyD, BCBA-D, Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of Alpine Learning Group, is a clinician, scholar, and pioneer in the education of individuals with autism. For more than 30 years, she has been an innovator in the examination of complex social and learning issues. In addition to her work with the staff and families at Alpine, Dr. Taylor has shared her expertise with professional associations, school programs, and treatment centers around the world.

Jaime Stine, MS, BCBA, is a supervisor of curriculum and instruction at Alpine Learning Group. She is also a certified teacher of students with disabilities and has been working with learners with autism since 2003. At Alpine, she provides training to parents and educators in the principles of applied behavior analysis and designs and implements treatment programs for learners on the autism spectrum. Jaime is the coauthor of several articles and book chapters on observational learning and increasing independence during self-care routines and has presented nationally and internationally. 

Sarah Altieri Losowyj, MA, BCBA, is a board certified behavior analyst in Alpine’s Education Program. She holds a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell University and has 15 years of experience working with children with autism in school, home, and community settings.
