About the Webinar: This webinar will focus on practical strategies to promote independence and autonomy in individuals on the autism spectrum from early childhood through adulthood. The discussion will highlight essential skills to teach, address common barriers, and outline effective strategies for fading supports across home, school, and community settings.

Host and Presenter:

Bridget Taylor, PsyD, BCBA-D, Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of Alpine Learning Group, is a clinician, scholar, and pioneer in the education of individuals with autism. For more than 30 years, she has been an innovator in the examination of complex social and learning issues. In addition to her work with the staff and families at Alpine, Dr. Taylor has shared her expertise with professional associations, school programs, and treatment centers around the world.

Kelly Della Rosa, MA, BCBA, LBA, is a board certified behavior analyst at Alpine Learning Group. She earned her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell University and has been working with learners with autism since 2008. In her current role, Kelly coordinates the agency’s research and BCBA supervision programs, conducts skill-based and functional behavior assessments, and provides clinical support to staff, learners and families. She has presented at many local and national conferences on a variety of topics including assessing and reducing problem behavior, vocational preferences, transitioning to adulthood, and equivalence-based instruction. Kelly has also published research on stimulus control of problem behavior.
